Bildungshaus of the Future - An Innovation Workshop
From July 6-7, 2022, we embarked on an experimental journey into the Bildungshaus of the future together with leaders, educational managers, experts and interested parties!
In the Bildungshaus St. Hippolyt in St. Pölten we asked ourselves: What do we understand by a Bildungshaus of the future? What does a future-oriented learning space look like? What does it take for learners to be able to develop, for creativity to have enough space and for the guests to feel comfortable?
On the 1st day, the event started at 14:00 with a barcamp. Participation was also possible online. In 3 sessions of 45 minutes each, the participants exchanged ideas such as "Bildungshaus to go", "Catering New" or "Involving Employees".
Day 2 was all about designing and experiencing new learning spaces. We tried out new things and shared ideas. Together with experts from various fields, we developed images of an educational building of the future. The participants actively and self-determinedly developed "prototypes" for the following settings in the Bildungshaus:
- Pedagogy / Future competencies
- Space & building concepts - seminar and learning rooms
- Catering/Gastronomy
- Communication - Reception and service
- Networking
- Economic efficiency
Once again, a group collaborated online.
At the end of the day, similar to the format of a vernissage, we surveyed which forward-looking ideas had emerged.
Gaby Filzmoser, Managing Director of ARGE BHÖ, documented the events in a VIDEO (YouTube). Have fun watching!
The innovation workshop took place in the framework of the Erasmus+ project "EDUCATION HOUSES OF THE FUTURE - needs-oriented learning space concepts in adult education". More information HERE.
The results and findings from this Erasmus+ project including this event will be summarized in a brochure. This will be published in November 2022 and will be available free of charge.
