General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of ARGE Bildungshäuser Österreich

valid for all services of ARGE Bildungshäuser Österreich (ARGE BHÖ) unless other regulations have been explicitly agreed.

Course participants

You can register for all events by telephone, in writing, by e-mail or in person. Every registration is binding and will be noted as a place reservation.

There are minimum and maximum numbers of participants for all events. We reserve the right to decide after the registration deadline whether the seminar will be held or cancelled. 
In the event of course cancellations or postponements, we cannot provide any compensation for expenses incurred.

Cancellation conditions

For cancellations within the last 10 days before the start of the event, the cancellation fee is 50 percent of the course fee. For cancellations in the last three working days before the start of the event and in the event of non-participation, the cancellation fee is 100 percent of the course fee. This fee does not apply if a substitute named by you attends the event.

Our event programme is planned on a long-term basis. Organisationally necessary deviations between the invitation to tender and the implementation or changes (even at short notice) to improve quality with regard to event content, days and dates as well as speakers do not entitle participants to assert claims for damages.

Our prices

We are a non-profit organisation and calculate our prices very tightly. Please therefore expect a price adjustment at the turn of the year.

Consent to data processing

By registering for an event organised by ARGE BHÖ, you consent to the automated processing of your data. Furthermore, the participant agrees that his/her name, telephone and e-mail data may be transmitted to fellow participants, lecturers, persons entrusted with the organisation of the event and to those cooperation partners who are involved in the event booked by the participant for the administration of the event and to facilitate internal communication. In principle, all personal details of participants will be treated in strict confidence and will not be passed on to third parties (with the exception of those mentioned above).

Liability

ARGE BHÖ accepts no liability for theft of or damage to items brought into rooms, seminar rooms and generally accessible rooms by customers or visitors.
The customer acknowledges that it is not permitted to install or have installed decorative material or other technical items in the reserved rooms without the consent of ARGE BHÖ. If ARGE BHÖ suffers any damage as a result, the customer shall compensate ARGE BHÖ for this damage, regardless of who carried out this work.

General provisions

Should individual provisions of the agreement become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
