Bildungshaus St. Hippolyt

St. Hippolyt is located in the centre of St. Pölten right next to the cathedral and is easily accessible by train and car. We have a wide range of halls and conference rooms, 14 in total, specially designed for all requirements, from large courses and events to IT or rooms with a special atmosphere such as our mediation room or our club room.

Our spectrum of further education opportunities is very colourful and is divided into the areas of inner world, physical world, relationship world, environment and cultural world.

St. Hippolyt consists of 3 main buildings, we have several inner courtyards, all of them beautifully green. A fourth building from the 16th century stands slightly apart, which we have been using as a hall of residence for students since 1 March 2024. We have a reading room that contains a small extract from our huge library for our guests (anything that isn't there right away will be added at short notice). In this room there is also a corridor where we offer the original books of Montessori's predecessor. We like to use our corridors as exhibition space; we currently have a very exciting exhibition on the subject of art therapy (‘Giving wings to the soul’). In our dining room, we cater for our seminar and hotel guests with delicious dishes conjured up by our kitchen.

Our café invites you to linger during seminar breaks or in the evening. The snacks, soups and sweets on offer are also all freshly produced in our kitchen. We are particularly proud of our beautiful chapel, where we offer Holy Masses for employees of the Diocese of St. Pölten and guests of our house. Our staff and guests love to use the chapel to pause and find peace!
 

Our education centre offers a colourful range of training and further education courses in the field of adult education.

A major focus is on further education in the areas of personal development, health and responsibility for creation. We are also particularly keen to offer programmes for marginalised groups. In this way, we provide a great service to our society!
