LK-Technik Mold

Info
LK-Technik Mold is the seminar and training centre of the Lower Austrian Chamber of Agriculture. Located in the small village of Mold near Horn in the Waldviertel region, this training centre can look back on a history of more than 70 years. Founded in 1952 as a machine maintenance centre where farmers could service and repair their tractors and equipment themselves under the supervision of experienced mechanics, the focus is still on agricultural technology today.
Training and further education, such as courses for skilled workers or master craftsmen, specialist seminars, field days or the so-called agricultural technology weeks for agricultural colleges form the core of the seminar activities.
A few years ago, the major topic of digitalisation was added as a further mainstay. A young team is working on the development of special applications for simple use as well as teaching the new technologies in the form of seminars and presentations. In this area of digitalisation, we are a partner in the nationwide ‘Innovation Farm’ project, a network of various specialist players in this field in cooperation with agricultural technology companies from Germany and abroad.
The aim is to refine the new techniques and develop simple handling methods in order to spread this form of digitalisation more widely. In addition to the training centre with seminar rooms and workshops, there is also a catering and hotel area. We are also happy to welcome guests from a wide range of other sectors and impress them with our hospitality.
Our kitchen spoils course participants and speakers with delicacies from the region.
Living and learning under one roof
Those who embrace this can utilise the added value for themselves.
Educational centres are very often self-contained systems in deliberately remote locations in order to offer few distractions for learning and personal development. Reflecting on what you have heard during the day in the evening or on a walk, revisiting the topic with colleagues, philosophising late into the night and developing new ideas together, all embedded in good care and accommodation.
This conscious withdrawal from everyday life, the immersion in a different, protected world, allows the seminar content to penetrate deeper and have a better impact. Direct dialogue with others is also becoming increasingly important in today's high-tech world, as is networking and sharing experiences.
Education with added value is open to everyone.
