Schloss Hofen is more than just a building.

As a regional company and further education institution of the FHV, it is a diverse educational institution with three business and nine programme areas. The overall package is unique for the Lake Constance region and primarily provides people in Vorarlberg with high-quality education and training in socially important topics and professional fields.

Effectively implementing the principles of good learning and teaching requires outstanding programmes and framework conditions for students and participants. With its core team of 64 employees on average and hundreds of external lecturers, Schloss Hofen provides these services for Vorarlberg and the Lake Constance region in three business areas (study centre, academy, seminar hotel) and nine programme areas.

In the area of basic administrative/organisational expertise, Schloss Hofen is characterised by personal support, a high degree of service orientation and an excellent quality of stay thanks to its special rooms and outstanding cuisine.

The distinctive pedagogical and didactic expertise with the Ö-Cert quality certificate is constantly being further developed with regard to digital trends and tools, new learning formats and creative learning settings. In the area of technical and content expertise, Schloss Hofen has a long-standing network of high-calibre cooperation partners as well as the best minds and experts in their respective fields. 
 

The ‘Schloss Hofen Study Centre’ education and business division offers continuing education at university or college level for working people in Vorarlberg and the Lake Constance region. The range of subjects and professional fields on offer extends from medicine & nursing and psychology & psychotherapy to social affairs & society and leadership & management.

The educational and business division ‘Schloss Hofen Academy’ offers courses and seminars for further education and training for working people, primarily in the fields of administration, elementary education, social work, health and business.

The ‘Schloss Hofen Seminarhotel’ business area, with its castle building and park, is available for most of the in-house programmes and, depending on capacity, for external companies and organisations with eight seminar and event rooms as well as a restaurant. Some events are held at other locations throughout Vorarlberg and sometimes in Tyrol for reasons of occupancy or contract.
