The General Assembly elected the new Board, which also includes an Austrian member, Dr. John Evers, Secretary General of the Verband Österreichischer Volkshochschulen. Uwe Gartenschlaeger wurde in seinem Präsidentenamt erneut bestätigt. Uwe Gartenschlaeger was confirmed in his presidency. Congratulations!

In addition, there were insightful group discussions on "Microcredentials", the new EAEA Manifesto, ALE and the war in Ukraine, and global developments in ALE policy.

Furthermore, the Grundtvig Award ceremony took place at the National and University Library. Here, the best initiatives on adult learning and the green transition were awarded. Congratulations to the winners from Armenia and the Netherlands!

On the 2nd day, the annual conference was held under the motto "Adult Learning and the Green Transition". After the keynote speech "The Green Transition in Times of Crisis: How can Adult Education help us create a more sustainable world?" by Arjen Wals, round tables, workshops and a World Café were held on the topic. The programme was rounded off with a panel discussion.
