Katholisches Bildungshaus Sodalitas - Katoliški dom prosvete Sodalitas

The Bildungshaus Sodalitas is a bilingual seminar and event centre in southern Carinthia.
It is a house of education, of art, a place of encounter and dialogue between the two ethnic groups and is also a valued educational centre for cooperation and guest courses.

WHAT we do
The educational programme is offered in both national languages and is geared towards the individual needs of all age groups. It covers coping with daily life together, adapting to new living conditions and teaching the skills and knowledge needed to cope with life.

We are open, diverse and constantly in DIALOGUE 
Every year, our educational centre hosts around 550 in-house and guest events with around 11,500 participants. Some educational events are also offered online and hybrid.

Targeted educational events are organised in an attempt to improve coexistence between the two ethnic groups in Carinthia. In addition, the educational centre endeavours to work across borders to strengthen the Alps-Adriatic region. What sets us apart from other educational centres is our bilingualism. With our educational programme we connect the Slovenian ethnic group in Carinthia and create important cooperation with the representatives of the ethnic group.

As an ecclesiastical institution, theological topics are an important part of our educational programme. We are an important cooperation partner for church institutions and organise many philosophical-theological events ourselves. As an educational institution, we always have the responsibility to sensitise our visitors to important topics such as ecological thinking, sustainability, inclusion, appreciation, social issues ... in both national languages.
